Draining a wet one.

Early Thursday morning, two of us were out to drain a water hole on the old river trail to Churning Rapids.  This is trail 8.    If you support these efforts, please make a donation to our capital campaign.  We also need help opening the new River Trail extension.
Here was a low spot that spring melt congregates at each year.

Lots of debris was blocking its flow out.

Now this is what we like to see!
Channels were cleared all the way to a rock pile on the uphill side. Oh ya!

In no time, the water was draining out and this will dry.
Not seen here was boards we later added so our UTV can cross.
