Rolling Newsflash: Grooming begins and trail markings updated

We had a crew in Churning Rapids today to install updated maps and trail markings. Now our trail signage is the best it's been in years. This coming summer, the trail on the west side of Mud Lake will be re-established so we'll have updated maps posted again. Ongoing improvements to the system are possible thanks to your support!

More trail signs have been added this fall and winter.

Plus the junction markers.

Most importantly, the maps and trifolds have
been  significantly updated and improved.

This is at top of the Pine Loop descent in Maasto.

Wayne has added new markers at the hills this year, too.
Here you can see the red exclamation
point on the birch in the distance.

Once the maps and signs were up, most of the remaining trails were rolled.

Late today, the entire system was rolled with the exception of the new river trail north of Tomasi RD.   Also not done was the river trail south of Tomasi to the dam.   These sections are quite rough. Trails will be re-rolled on Sunday and will be groomed each day that it snows. We appreciate your understanding that Maasto and Churning can't be groomed with low snow.
