New signage installed, plus trail check.

Now a ski report and new signage progress update.

On New Year's Day, a new map post was installed at Christensen RD.

Of course a new map was installed and junction signage as well.

This one is #40!

After that was done, we parked on High Point RD and skied

out on Lookout Loop (aka The Tower Loop) to the new river trail,

and eventually down to the Swedetown Creek gorge.

At the triangle intersection in Churning Rapids

On the final descent into the gorge.

We found a tree across the trail here.

Job security for the trail crew?

Now we are in the prettiest creek gorge around.   Swedetown!

Up Sidewinder hill we leave the gorge.

Skiing was pretty darn good!

As stated earlier, our trails are quite rough and require much more snow just to roll. Grooming with low snow would put the base from 6" to less than 2" and expose the rocks, stumps, and bumps. So put on your old touring skis and enjoy the trails!  Please be patient and grooming will commence as soon as more snow falls.
