Gorge Grief getting repaired

The bright side of little snow falling, we've been out clearing the gorge of problems we couldn't get to this fall.

On the upstream side of Tomasi RD which is called the river trail, a tight spot was being created by a migrating stream.

After two trees were removed, safe passage can now be had.

Here Sandy is demonstrating the height of one tree
that's near rail road ravine. This is on trail #3

A handy-dandy pole saw went into action on it.

Next its main trunk was cut.

Trees that were broke when it had fallen were cleared.

What the??!!??!!

Shazam! A few hours later, she's gone.
Thanks to a pole saw! (mostly anyway:-)

Then we went to the "hog wallow" and removed trees
here  that were on there way down.

NOAA does say snow will be starting up shortly.
