Christmas Eve grooming report

Early this morning we rolled the 3" we received overnight and made new tracks.  Trails are looking better but more snow is needed to smooth over the rough spots.   The only ones to not get tracks are the section upstream (north) of Pebbles pit road on trail 4, to the gate into Churning Rapids; also trail 4 on the west side of Mud lake.    Notably, the reopened Outback did get tracks for the 1st time this year, as did the Lookout loop in CR.

Early light, right by the chalet

The trail is shaping up nicely for the Candle Luminary Ski on Tuesday!

The ginzu managed to till up some grass and turf. Yes, shallow spots remain.

The prettiest creek around.

Quincy Trail, near the Pine Loop

We salute all the folks who support the trails by purchasing a pass. Thanks!

On the Vista Trail.

Rough, but getting better.  This is the reopened Outback trail!

Just when you think the snow is looking deeper....

...then you pull up a rock!

We'll add a map sign here when we have a chance.

Some of trail 9 near Mud Lake was double tracked.

In Churning Rapids today. 1st time for tracks made here!
Hope you get out to enjoy the trails!
