Breaking news! Trails rolled, limited track made, and tower loop opened.

This morning we rolled the snow that fell overnight and decided some trails were now deep enough to make tracks.   Granted, things are quite rough and wet spots remain, nonetheless, tracks were made on all city side trails and the gorge until Tomasi pit road.   From there the old trail or trail 8 to Churning Rapids has tracks; trail 4 towards Mud Lake, and the trail on the east side of the lake (trail 9). Trails aren't perfect yet but skiing isn't bad!
This morning we had two rollers out for the first time this year.

Friendly Twin Cities skiers who are so glad to see snow!

They have kids at the races at tech.

We're glad they visited Maasto. Thanks for your support guys!

Then the Ginzu came out to make a few tracks.

The most beautiful gorge in the area.

Some tracks looked quite nice, but please note, most remain rough.

At the triangle to get into Churning Rapids and the tower loop.  There is still water here!

Many, many trees had fallen across this trail.
This needs to be taken care in the fall, not after snow comes.

It was about 2ft deep out here.

Hope you got out on the trails!
