Big Blow - report #29

After the 50mph gusts we had here last night, we thought we might have some drifting grief today.  When Colin was rolling around the Mud Lake loop, at the canal gorge edge he fell into a 4ft deep drift hole.  I came out to help him dig out and took these pictures.  After the recovery, the snow kept coming down and we received close to a foot, not the 1 to 3 inches NOAA had predicted for us.   Nonetheless, late today tracks were made on the city side, gorge and river trails.
We plan to get out early Thursday morning to drag drifted trails smooth and of course set tracks everywhere.
By the time I arrived, Colin has excavated snow out from under it.
It machine weights about 1800 lbs.

This a better picture of its buried pods.

All fun in a groomers day.
