On Labor Day, a few of us got to knocking down the weeds to begin the reopening of the Mud Lake Loop. To be fair, this past week the trees that impeded this section had been removed by Arlyn A. and Laura N.

| We started at the Cemetery and worked our way towards the lake. |

| With a few trees gone, more light meant more grass to knock down. |

This is as far as we got today. This is where the old trail went up the bluff.
The new one will go right, following the edge of the Mud lake. |

| Looking back, it's now ready for snow! |
