Skier report Saturday December 20

Maasto and Churning Rapids were rolled on Wednesday 12/18 and many wet spots were encountered. Due to the undulations, rocks, and general rough trail tread Maasto and CR always need lots more snow than the other local trails before tracks can be set. But the trail surface today was nice and firm, yet the top soft enough for skis to track well. Fortunately the cold nights have stiffened up the new large puddles so I didn't get my skinny skis wet. So get out for a great ski! Preferably before the next warm up...
