Rolling into lake snow!

Enough lake effect snow fell today to prompt another rolling by late this afternoon.  This was done to facilitate the freezing of the many wet locations we still have.  The rolling knocks air out and lets the ground become cooler and stop or at least improve the wet spots.  I did have a camera along and took a brand spanking new towing machine we got this summer.
I should have added that the City side, all gorge trails,  Vista and Outback were rolled yesterday.   These have the most wet locations.
The trails are looking better but remain quite rough.

On the Pine loop descent.  You can see the pedestrian bridge in the background.

The area's most beautiful creek -  Swedetown -  right at the edge of Hancock.

Could you fine a prettier gorge?

The sun was going down but tried to peek through the clouds.

The wet spots are improving.
Time, cool temps, and more snow is the cure.
(Other than repairing the trail via tractor and backhoe to keep the water off.)

Not bad!

What a gorgeous evening to be on the trails. Hope you got out!
